A French-Canadian Celebration of the Winter Solstice is playing this season at George Washington University's Lisner Auditorium December 9-17th.
There is a special price for children for the show on Friday, December 15th.
Details: Take an enchanting journey to a charming Québec village and revel in the winter holidays. In the late December chill, the glow of hearth fires warms the spirits of the villagers as they prepare for the time of celebration—le temps des Fêtes! Amidst this holiday cheer, a group of young men prepares to set out after profit and adventure—to be voyageurs. They paddle a huge canoe across rivers and lakes, deep into the wild Canadian woods—but not even rugged terrain can stop them from rejoining their loved ones in time for New Year’s Eve!
**If you plan on going on Friday, December 15th at 7:30, let Mme. Rebecca know! We will be able to meet one of the French-speaking actors after the show!!
